TDG Centre Pivoting Roof Windows
Roto Roof Windows have a number of well-considered and important features. A comprehensive range of accessories such as electric opening system and interior blinds to further enhance their unlimited design application.
Low Level Handle
The handle is situated in the base of the sash giving easy access even
if the window is tall or mounted at a high level. The double tongue catch
allows a safely locked open setting for extra ventilation.
The telescopic pole fits on to the window handle and operates the blind.
Available in a variety of lengths.
Rotating Sash
The sash rotates 180° and can be locked into position for easy cleaning
of the window from inside the house.
Keypad Control
Difficult-to-access windows can be opened and closed effortlessly at the
touch of a button. All Roto Roof Windows can, even subsequently, be easily
fitted with this motor. In addition, a wooden cover is available making
the motor 'invisible'.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Sash & Frame
- The sash and frame are made of solid pinewood, glued end-to-end.
- The frame is assembled with silt-and-tongue joints, glued and stapled.
- The frame is treated in accordance with DIN688003 and lacquered with one 40µ coat of varnish.
Advantages
- The cover is attached to the sash with concealed fittings to prevent
water from penetrating the wood of the sash.
- The window has a single-point locking system.
- The hinges, with variable adjustment of the locking device tension,
allow optimum pivoting of the sash.
- The cleaning lock in the right of the frame engages the sash at 135°, allowing safe cleaning of the outer pane.
