Tubular Skylights' amazing perfomance is the result of two breakthrough technologies - the unique variable pitch adaptor and the SPECULAR REFLECTIVE SILVERTUBE, exclusive to Tubular.

Silvertube has the highest reflectivity available today and was developed in conjunction with 3M Australia Pty Ltd. It's perfomance is outstanding and is standard on all Tubular Skylights.

Tubular Skylights operate on specular reflectivity - bouncing light down the tube, with a percentage light loss experienced with each bounce. Many light tubes, such as specular aluminium experience a loss of approximately 15% with each bounce. With low performing flexi - tubes (aluminium foil) losing much more.

Through the exclusive use of Silvertube, Tubular Skylights are New Zealand's highest performing tubular skylights, offering the optimum in specular reflectivity. With a light loss of only 5% per bounce, Tubular Skylights represents the optimum performance that can be achieved from a tube length of 2.4 metres.
